US Marshals Capture NJ Man In VA For Attempted Murder, Sex Assault Of 2 Victims: Prosecutor

A 46-year-old New Jersey man was arrested by US Marshals in Virginia on Wednesday, June 5 for attempted murder and accusations he sexually assaulted two people including a juvenile, authorities said.

Caream Davis, of Irvington, NJ was arrested in Richmond, VA following the assaults on an adult and a juvenile on Monday, June 3, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens, II and Irvington Public Safety Director Tracy Bowers said.

Additional details are being withheld to protect the victims, authorities said. 

Stephens was charged with with two counts of aggravated sexual assault, attempted murder, kidnapping, attempted sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and making terroristic threats, authorities said. He remains in Virginia pending extradition to New Jersey, authorities said.
